A hunting score is only useful if the hunter can see what it represents, what inputs influenced it, and whether the recommendation still belongs to the exact stand and hunt window being planned.
What HuntScore evaluates
HuntScore is tied to a specific property, stand, hunt date and hunt window. Depending on the context available, decision factors can include wind fit, temperature shift, pressure and weather trends, movement evidence, camera pattern confidence, access/pressure risk and seasonal factors.
Saved decisions stay saved
Opening Hunt Plan does not silently recalculate or replace the saved HuntScore. BuckVisionAI preserves the exact recommendation identity so the hunter can move from decision to plan without losing which property, stand, date and window produced the score.
What happens when the stand does not fit?
A low or rejected saved stand does not automatically mean the hunt is over. BuckVisionAI can evaluate review-only Current-Condition Sit Zones™ using terrain, movement evidence, the hunt wind and access practicality. Those alternatives remain candidates until reviewed and verified.
Weather and wind provenance
BuckVisionAI preserves NOAA/NWS provenance for weather and wind where available. It should not manufacture wind direction or weather values to make a score look complete. Learn more on the wind and weather intelligence page.
From HuntScore to field execution
The connected workflow is HuntScore → Hunt Plan → verify conditions → start hunt → navigate → arrive → check in → hunt → check out → outcome. The same decision identity is carried forward so the field workflow does not become disconnected from the plan.
