BUCKVISIONAI 40.7

Wind Contamination & Access Risk Logic

The first risk-control layer for BuckVisionAI. This dashboard defines how the system downgrades or blocks risky hunts caused by bad wind, scent cone exposure, entry route contamination, exit route exposure, thermals, noise, and hunter pressure.

Intelligence Core HuntScore Logic Wind Risk Analyzer Movement Prediction LogicReport Intelligence Bridge Autonomous Scoring Run

Primary Wind Direction

25%

The system should identify whether wind carries scent toward bedding, travel corridors, food sources, or expected deer approach routes.

  • Bedding scent cone
  • Trail scent cone
  • Food-source exposure
  • Downwind danger zone

Entry Route Risk

20%

Even a perfect stand can fail if the hunter crosses trails, contaminates bedding edges, or exposes movement before the sit starts.

  • Trail crossings
  • Noise exposure
  • Visual exposure
  • Wind during entry

Exit Route Risk

15%

Poor exits educate deer after dark and reduce future hunt quality.

  • Field-edge exit
  • Food source bumping
  • Bedding-side exit
  • After-dark deer contact

Thermal Behavior

15%

Terrain, temperature, creek bottoms, ridges, and evening cooling can shift scent beyond basic forecast wind.

  • Morning rise
  • Evening fall
  • Creek bottom pull
  • Ridge/topo effect

Pressure Contamination

15%

Recent intrusion, repeated sits, cameras checked too often, and obvious access routes reduce stand quality.

  • Recent human scent
  • Overhunted stand
  • Camera check pressure
  • Public land traffic

Risk Recovery

10%

The system should recognize when rain, time, wind shifts, or low pressure can help recover a location after intrusion.

  • Rain washout
  • Rest days
  • Wind reset
  • Low-impact observation

Risk Logic Formula

Wind & Access Safety Score =
(Primary Wind Safety × 0.25)
+ (Entry Route Safety × 0.20)
+ (Exit Route Safety × 0.15)
+ (Thermal Reliability × 0.15)
+ (Pressure Safety × 0.15)
+ (Risk Recovery Factor × 0.10)

Output:
0-39 = Do not hunt / high education risk
40-59 = Dangerous sit / only observe from distance
60-74 = Huntable with strict caution
75-89 = Clean setup
90-100 = Premium low-risk access and wind setup

Automatic HuntScore Caps:
- Wind into bedding: cap HuntScore at 59
- Entry crosses primary trail: cap HuntScore at 64
- Exit likely bumps deer off food: cap HuntScore at 69
- Recent heavy intrusion: cap HuntScore at 69
- Unreliable thermals in hill country or creek bottom: cap HuntScore at 74

Founder Rule for 40.7

BuckVisionAI should protect the hunter from educating deer. If access, wind, thermals, or exit route risk are wrong, the system should recommend staying out even when movement conditions look strong.
